Sound Bath Healing in Gurugram
A sound bath is a guided session in which you lie down and rest while instruments such as Himalayan singing bowls, gongs and chimes are played around you. You do nothing at all — the sustained tones slow your breathing and heart rate, and the body shifts out of its stress response into rest.

What happens in a sound bath session?
You arrive, settle onto a mat with a bolster and blanket, and close your eyes. Megha begins with a short grounding practice — a few minutes of slower breathing to signal to the body that it is safe to let go. The instruments then start quietly and build, layering singing bowls, gongs and chimes so the sound moves around and through the room. The session closes in silence, with several minutes to come back gently before anyone speaks.
You are not required to concentrate, visualise, or empty your mind. The work is done by the sound and by your willingness to lie still for an hour.
Why does sound calm the nervous system?
Sustained, predictable tone gives an overstimulated mind something undemanding to rest on. When attention has somewhere soft to land, breathing lengthens and the body moves out of sympathetic arousal — the alert, braced state most people live in during a busy week — and into the parasympathetic state where rest and repair happen.
This is why a sound bath often feels disproportionate to the effort involved. You did nothing, and yet something genuinely shifted.
Who is this for?
Sound bath healing suits people who know they are carrying tension but cannot find a way to put it down. That includes anyone whose sleep has thinned out, who feels braced without knowing why, or who has tried to meditate and found the silence uncomfortable rather than restful.
It is also one of the gentlest entry points for someone who is curious about healing work but not ready to talk about anything yet. Nothing is asked of you here.
How often should you attend?
For general stress, once a month keeps the effect alive. Through a harder period — grief, burnout, a stretch of poor sleep — fortnightly for two or three months does more. Many people begin with a sound bath and then move into one-to-one work as they get a clearer sense of what they are carrying.
What we ask of you
Come a little early so you are not arriving rushed. Eat lightly beforehand. And give yourself somewhere unhurried to go afterwards — the hour after a session is often where the quiet actually lands.
Healing practices offered at Nurturing Souls support emotional well-being and are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
